Gonzalo Delgado is a Mexican-American director, playwright, and actor whose work boldly confronts societal norms and ignites conversations. Hailing from the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, Gonzalo's artistic vision is rooted in a commitment to push boundaries and challenge perceptions. With a fierce dedication to themes of queerness, culture, and faith, he crafts narratives that reflect the rich tapestry of human experience, urging audiences to examine the world through a new lens.

Currently a sophomore BFA Directing student at the University of Michigan, Gonzalo is honing his craft while exploring the intersection of art and activism. His unique perspective and innovative storytelling have garnered attention, leading to collaborations with diverse ensembles and initiatives aimed at amplifying underrepresented voices in theater.
